Children's Mission Ministry Team

This year has been a busy and exciting time for our children's mission ministry team. We have regular monthly meeting which include Bible lessons, prayer, Mission projects, crafts and games. Our mission projects for 2009 included making a monetary donation and collecting supplies for the Greater Huntsville Humane Society. We took a field trip to deliver the items and see the animals that we were helping. We handed out bookmarks on Mother's Day and Father's Day to the congregation. We carved pumpkins and made fall T-shirts. We made Christmas cards for the children at Huntsville Hospital and the church congregation. The children also made a monetary donation to the Dr. Frank Crim Compassion Fund for children with cancer. We made Ruldoph T-shirts and participated in our Christmas program at church. We also took another field trip to sponsor two Angels from the Angel Tree for Christmas. We went shopping for and delivered gifts for a young girl and an elderly gentleman. Our ministry is open to children of all ages.
